On November 6th this year, I'll be walking in the 22nd annual Philadelphia Heart Walk, as I do every year and Covid can't stop us! My goal, and that of the American Heart Association, is to ensure that all people, regardless of their zipcodes, have the opportunities to love long and healthy lives. The impact being made in our backyards to ensure this have been impressive. By working closely within communities where risk is greatest, we have been able to empower people to lead healthier lives and promote health equity. We continue to focus on eliminating barriers to quality health care access as well. I couldn't be prouder of the work being done. I was lucky that Matt knew CPR and we had incredible care in my time of need. I want others to have the same opportunity. Please consider supporting me so we can make a positive impact on our communities and achieve this goal! Any amount helps and if you'd like to join me for the walk (remember, I have heart disease so I'm walking, not running...hahaha), I'll be there! Check out the video to see a little snapshot of our successful work with enabling more to learn CPR. And if you haven't already seen it, the video of my personal story and that of my family can be seen here: https://vimeo.com/334061764/48ca04741b
As always, thank you for always being so supportive. It is the reason I am able to do what I do and I couldn't be more grateful.
