America's Greatest Heart Run & Walk and the AHA are close to my heart; this will be my 24th year participating!! Each year I've walked/ran in honor of the survivors who are dear to me, and in memory of the loved ones we've lost to heart disease. I started this walk when my friend Anne had a baby girl, born with a hole in her heart, she was the Red Cap Ambassador in 1999. The next year my Mom had her first heart attack. I'm thankful to say Mom is a survivor of 3 heart attacks, and doing well with a pace maker now. Please help me fight Heart Disease! Your support is much appreciated ... thank you!
