Unfortunately my family is very familiar with Heart Disease and Stroke.
I walk in Memory of my Mother (Heart Disease), Grandfather (Stroke), my Sister (Hypertension), Father (Heart/Stroke) and Nephew (Heart defect) and Honor of another Sister (Heart defect).
The Heart Association has made great strides in Education, Prevention and Treatment of Heart Disease and Stroke but....
Heart disease is still the no. 1 killer and stroke ranks no. 5 in our nation. You could do something to change that.
