This year I am walking to honor the life of my friend Matthew Temple. I met Matt 25 years ago, which was 2 years before I became best friends with his sister Kristen. Matt was born with a heart defect, on February 1, 1978. That’s right, his birthday is day one of American Heart Month! Defying the odds his parents were given back then, Matt thrived for 44 years with the help of an amazing team of doctors, nurses and specialist and to the continued research and changing technologies for heart patients. Donating to organizations like American Heart Association assures that the research and support continues. Please consider making a donation today, in honor of someone you have lost or someone who is currently facing a heart related challenge. Together we can make a difference.
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today!
