My family and I will be walking to bring awareness to kids like our son Jack who are 1 in 100 kids that are born with a congenital heart defect. Jack was born with Truncus Arteriosis and had open heart surgery at 5 days old. This is easy to forget about in the day-to-day hustle but every year we are reminded at his annual cardiology appointment. Although checkups have been good up to this point we know another intervention is imminent in the coming year or two.
