I walk for my dad, Ronnie Blessing. He died of an MI at the age of 48, back when the education was limited and regular physicals were few and far between. I work in cardiac rehab in a way to honor his memory, and help those patients who did survive heart attacks, or heart surgeries get back to their families. I find peace in knowing, that though my dad did not come back to us, I can help others heal and go home to their loved ones. "I carry you heart with me, I carry it in my heart."
