Why I Walk: I walk because I want our stroke patients and their loved ones to know that they are supported not only in the hospital, but within the community as well! We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. We have to change that.

9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this. ?
Cardiac arrests happen anywhere and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death. ?
