I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. At the age of 53 I had a heart attack in March of last year which ended up with me having to endure a double bypass on Sept. 18, 2023. Due to genetics it seems that I am walking in my mother's exact footsteps. My mom lived to be 83 years old thanks to getting great support and care from her team of physicians. I hope and pray the same happens for me!!
