I have been fundraising for the American Heart Association's Annual Heart Walk for about 25 years now. As most of you know, my father lost his battle with heart disease back in 2008, which motivated me to create Team Florio and get others to help fundraise with me. Since then, many more family and friends have either lost their battle with heart disease, or are continuing to battle it and it's after effects. The list of people I walk for, whether victims or survivors, family or friends, grows constantly.
