I walk because I had a stroke in April 2022. If it wasn’t for the medical team, I wouldn’t be here to tell my story. I went through many months of therapies (physical, occupational and speech), where I had to learn how to move again, take care of myself again, think again and drive again. I made a lot of progress and after 6 1/2 months, I was able to go back to work. With everything I went through, I want to make a difference in someone else’s life, paying it forward.
