Life is Why! Join me in supporting the American Heart Association!
I’m not just walking. I’m Heartwalking (or "Heart-scooting" on my scooter). My participation in Heart Walk promotes fun ways to be physically active and make healthier choices every day. Imagine the impact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent by 2020. Please help me reach this life saving goal by donating today.
AND IT IS PERSONAL! My father, Richard (Dick) died of heart disease in 2007 at just the age of 68! My father-in-law, Sheldon, had open heart surgery at age 35 - he is now 80 - soon to be 81 - and has survived all of these years because of life saving treatments and drugs related to his heart disease. And finally, in 2019 I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and I am treating with BP medicine - so the fight is real.
Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.
Thank you in advance for your support!
