Help me save lives. I am raising money for the American Heart Association. I'm doing this by registering for the Albany Capital region Heart Walk.
I'm walking to honor my late father, who had a pacemaker/defibrillator, my fun loving best friend.. who is a heart survivor and survived 5-way bypass surgery ...as well as my dear friend Dave Titterington. Dave T was known to the media and radio air waves as Rick Knight and passed away May 12, 2012 from a massive heart attack. The Capital Region Heart Walk and Run is in Albany, June 2nd. I haven't fundraised in a few years, but we all have to take time aside when our family comes first. Now I'm recommitting to raising money for the American Heart Association.
There has been so much progress in the fight against heart disease and stroke.. from making aeds more accessible, mandated in school along with CPR, to even helping infants get mandated oxygen testing to detect heart disorders before going home from the hospital after birth. You are saving lives by supporting my fundraising initiatives.
