Heart disease is the No. 1 killer worldwide and stroke ranks second globally. Funding and research is what was needed in order for Upstate to have a state of the art Heart & Vascular Center and to be the first Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in the Central New York area. Funding and research is what is needed to provide prevention and treatment for those who are close to us.  Take a moment and think about all of those who you know that have been affected by Heart Disease and Stroke - walk for those you love.
