We Walk to Save Lives!
2022 Long Island Heart Walk
In Memory of Jay Jerome
For the past two years we have joined this heart walk to help raise awareness of heart issues. On this day, we honor my brother, Jay, who lost his life to a sudden heart attack at age 44. He truly was a great man, son, brother, uncle, nephew, godfather, investigator, and friend to all. This year we are walking with a survivor, my mother, who recently survived a heart attack and two cardiac arrests.
Heart disease is still the no. 1 killer in our nation and stroke ranks no. 2 worldwide. You could do something to change that.
We are walking together - not only for our own health, but also for yours. And for the health of our parents, our children, and our grandchildren.
The Heart Walk is a time of celebration, joy, and inspiration. It's also an event where people work together to support one single goal - to create a world free of heart disease and stroke.
Be a heart hero. Be a relentless force. Be a part of an unstoppable team.
Join us on Sunday, September 18th at 11:30am at Robert Moses State Park field 5. We'll meet at the east end of the parking lot and we'll follow the boardwalk to the light house.
