We are walking again this year to honor our Uncle Johnny, and Brother John.  Last year he received a heart and double lung transplant.  He is doing well and because of science and research this type of life saving surgery is possible.  

Heart disease is still the no. 1 killer and stroke ranks no. 5 in our nation. You could do something to change that.  Funds are needed to continue the research to help us fight these diseases. 

My mom, sisters, aunt and nieces are all walking together - not only for our own health, but also for yours. And for the health of our parents, our children, and our grandchildren.

The Heart Walk is a time of celebration, joy, and inspiration. It's also an event where people work together to support one single goal - to create a world free of heart disease and stroke.
