I walk because I know that with every step I take and with every dollar I raise, I’m making a difference in someone’s life.  Heart failure and complications with congestive heart failure have taken two extra special people away from me in recent years, not to mention others lost in years gone by. My participation in this year's event is a tribute to my Dad - Carl Delano Jr., and to Steve's Mom - Denise Syrek.  We miss them dearly and are happy to do our part to raise funds, raise awareness, and create hope so that others may not have to go through this.  Please consider making a donation to spread hope to others.  Together, we are making HOPE FOR HEARTS a true source of hope!
