Twelve years ago our world was turned upside when we found out that the baby we had waited so long to welcome to the world was going to be born with only half of a heart - missing his left ventricle. We were told he would have to have three open heart surgeries before he was two, the first when he was only a few days old, and even then we were promised nothing. The last twelve years have been a journey- ups, downs and everything in between. And we wouldn't change it for anything. Aedan is 11.5 years old, getting ready to start middle school in the fall, playing baseball and downhill skiing. We are truly blessed and thank all of you for continuing and unending support through the years. He would not be where he is without you. ❤
