I survived a brainstem stroke in 2010 at the age of 30. Despite warnings that I would not likely walk or even be able to live alone again, I have made great strides even in the last few years. Recognizing the signs of stroke saved my life, and I have worked to raise awareness for other to survive heart disease and stroke and thrive through disability. Courtney’s Crew has been active in the Puget Sound Heart and Stroke Walk for years and is now expanding cross-country to Boston! Please join me in supporting this effort!
