At Small Venue Music, our mission is to celebrate the amazing musicians and music venues in Richmond Virginia.   When we learned about how Shannon Walls of the local band Sidepiece lost his son Avery to a rare heart condition, we knew we needed to unite the Richmond music community to help.   We honored Avery's life by supporting the promotion and fundraising efforts for the American Heart Association at the Avery Walls Music Festival.

We are proud to continue to honor Avery Walls, his family, and all of the amazing musicians in Richmond who came together to fight heart disease by supporting the AHA Heart Walk.   

We hope all musicians and lovers of music will join our team and support the American Heart Association.
