MY daughter Sarah was born with congenital heart defects causing her to require multiple open heart surgeries and additional issues along the way.

The research done by the AHA has allowed her to live a normal life and allowed her to pursue a career in cardiac nursing. We have seen the important role the Heart Association plays to save lives.
