A Heartfelt Story for Hope: Supporting Kimrong Im and the American Heart Association
Dear Friends, Family, and Colleagues,
Today, I come to you with a request that comes from the heart—one that can make a lasting difference not only for someone we care about, but also for countless others whose lives are impacted by heart disease every day.
As many of you know, Kimrong Im (Kim) has always been the kind of person who brightens a room, works tirelessly to support our team, and is there when you need him most. However, as many of you know, Kim faced an unexpected and life-changing event a few years ago: a stroke while working here at R. A. Wood that required immediate and ongoing medical attention. The F.A.S.T. program from the American Heart Association was directly responsible for minimizing the effects of the stroke, and medications/procedures developed by the same organization help to dissolve blood clots in the brain.
Despite the hardships and long road to recovery, Kim has shown incredible strength and determination, never giving up on his health or the people who rely on him. This is why we are reaching out to ask for your support in helping Kim by contributing to the mission of the American Heart Association.
The American Heart Association has been at the forefront of funding critical research, advocating for better heart health, and providing education and support to those battling heart disease.
