Join Us for the Lynchburg Heart Walk!
Dear PCA Members,
I invite you to consider joining us for the Lynchburg Heart Walk at Percival's Island on April 12th. This event is a wonderful opportunity to show our support for heart health in our community and help raise awareness about the importance of cardiac care.
I understand that many of you will be attending the PCNA conference during this time and may be unable to participate in person. While I will also be at the conference and unable to attend the walk, I plan to walk virtually at a different time to continue supporting this important cause. I’ve set a personal fundraising goal of $1,000, and I believe this initiative is a fantastic way for us to unite with our friends here in central Virginia in our shared mission for heart health.
Every step we take and every dollar we raise can make a significant difference. With 9 out of 10 people suffering cardiac arrest outside of hospitals not receiving bystander CPR, your participation can help change this. By joining the walk or donating, we can train more people in lifesaving CPR techniques, fund crucial research, and ultimately save lives.
Let’s come together to turn bystanders into lifesavers. I encourage you to join our team, participate in the walk, or contribute to the fundraising efforts if you can. Together, we can make a lasting impact on heart health in our community.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to support such a vital cause!
Warm regards,
Mary Anne Poling BSN, RN
