This year,
On May 11th, 2025 will mark 10 years without our beloved father. Our Dad had many heart issues starting in his early 30s when he suffered his first heart attack. In 1998 he had triple bypass surgery. We were thankful that God gave him more time with us. However we still lost him too soon. He died at 59 years old from cardiac arrest. I was only 26 while my siblings were 36, 33 and 32. His poor heart just couldn't take it anymore. :(
So in honor of my Dad and his upcoming anniversary,
I wanted to create a team in his name and participate in the Heart Walk on June 7th 2025! Please join me and my family as we walk for our Dad. I chose the name "Jim's Heartbeats" because we were just that! He loved his kids and his grandkids very much. Not a day goes by that we don't miss him. So let's support this cause and raise money for the American Heart Association!!

Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone.
I Walk to Save Lives. Help me reach my goal today by joining our team or donating towards our goal. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
