I'm walking in this year's American Heart Association Heart Walk in memory of my son, Colin, who passed away from hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) shortly after birth in 1995.
We walk to honor him-and to fight for the many other families affected by congenital heart defects and heart disease.
HLHS is a rare and serious condition, and there is still so much more we need to learn and do. The American Heart Association funds critical research and support that can save lives. I'm asking for your help so we can bring hope to other families facing similar battles.
If you're able, please consider donating to our Heart Walk team! If you'd like to join my team you can do that as well!
Thank you for helping us keep Colin's memory alive and supporting a future where every heart gets a fighting chance.
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. \u200b
I Walk to Save Lives. Help me reach my goal today by joining our team or donating towards our goal. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
