10 years. September 5th, 2012. 10 years ago my life was saved. The technology and research that went into keeping me alive was in part due to American Heart Association. Their dedication along with nurses, doctors, and many others to patients like me give us a tomorrow.
Saving and improving lives can be as simple as taking a walk. And I know I'm making a difference in the lives of my family, heart heros, survivors like me, and others by participating in the Heart Walk.
But it's not just my efforts alone that will one day help us see a world free of heart disease and stroke. I am walking with a team of heart heros, fellow survivors, and supporters because together, we will have an even greater impact. And you can help us change the world, one step at a time, by donating to my fundraiser.
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that keeps hearts like mine beating. Donations help people enjoy longer, healthier lives. More sunrises and sunsets. More birthdays and anniversaries. More time to watch their kids grow. More time to spend with friends and family. Just more time. We suvivors can't do it alone.
Please help me now by donating. Because every step counts. And together we are helping save lives!
