Life is Why! Friends and family who suffer from heart disease is why!
This year, I’m not just walking...I’m Heartwalking. My participation in the Heart Walk this year helps me remember to be physically active and make healthier choices every day.
I'm also walking for Joseph Adams. Joseph is the son of a co-worker of mine who underwent open-heart surgery this year. Born with a bicuspid aortic valve, Joe faced a 5+ hour surgery where they had to replace his aortic valve with the pulmonary valve, and then replace the pulmonary valve with a cadaver valve at the young age of 17. His surgery went flawlessly, which added decades to his life.
Advancement in technologies enabled by your support allow people like Joseph to live the life most of us take for granted. Please help me reach this lifesaving goal by donating today. Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.
Thank you in advance for your support!
Michael
p.s. For some reason, our personal donation of $150 isn't showing up properly, so I wanted to let you know that we've donated (just in case you didn't want to b/c we hadn't)... LOL!
