Our focus this year is to solve a BIG problem in our community through our participation in Heart Walk. 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside of the hospital will die in part because many people around them don’t know how to act in an emergency and don’t know how to perform Hands Only CPR. This is happening in workplaces, at home and on athletic fields in our community. We have an incredible opportunity through the Heart Walk to ensure that in the face of an emergency—anyone, anywhere is prepared to perform CPR and is ready to be a hero-in-waiting. We have not only set a goal of raising $10,000 for this year’s Heart Walk, which will raise critical funds, we also have the opportunity for everyone from our company who registers to learn Hands On CPR and share it with your friends and family. Together we will turn a nation of bystanders into a Nation of Lifesavers
