As nursing students at Seminole State College – SNA, we’re walking in the American Heart Walk with purpose, inspired by the 5 C’s of nursing—Caring, Compassion, Competence, Communication, and Commitment. Heart disease and stroke affect countless people every day, and we’re determined to make a difference.
Guided by our future roles as caregivers and advocates, we’re stepping up not only to raise awareness but to be a force of support for those impacted by these life-altering conditions. This walk allows us to extend our compassion beyond the classroom and to stand up for vital research, education, and prevention efforts that change lives. By volunteering, we’re building the skills and dedication we’ll carry with us into our nursing careers, showing that our commitment to health starts now.
As the American Heart Association celebrates its Centennial, we proudly join this movement, walking for a future free from heart disease and stroke. Walk with us, support us, and help us create a healthier world—one step and one heartbeat at a time. Together, let’s be a force for change.
Be a relentless force. Be a supporter of critical research. Be a lifesaver. Be a part of an unstoppable team. Join us now and walk to save lives.
