My son Ryan was born with severe congenital heart defects. He has had 5 open heart surgeries and is just 15 years old. Much of the medical technology that helps Ryan today didn't exist when he was born. Money raised by the American Heart Association helps fund the research that leads to that new technology.
Just as I did last year, I accepted an invitation to join Executives with Heart, a group of Palm Beach County business leaders committed to each raising $5,000 for this year's Heart Walk.
