My mom is my WHY
I work for the American Heart Association and fundraise in honor of my mom who has had 4 mini strokes. She knew the warning signs and was able to call 911 for help. She is fully recovered and I thank the AHA for educating her on the warning signs. She was also born with an abnormal heart valve and thanks to research funded by the AHA she had open heart surgery to save her life and replace that valve.
