I Walk to Save Lives!
I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. We have to change that. Will you help me?
My dad, Frank Darden – my son Franklin's namesake - started out as my stepdad and adopted me later in life. He did all the dad things: taught me to drive a manual transmission, moved me into and out of apartments over and over again, and walked me down the aisle. He has had heart issues since I was in the single digits and most recently had a 28 day stint in Ft. Lauderdale for heart surgery after getting airlifted out of the U.S. Virgin Islands from a family vacation in 2021. I wouldn't be who I am today without his love and influence in my life, and I am very thankful for all the advancements in medicine that have allowed him to continue to be a part of mine and my family's lives.
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today.
