As most of you know I am the Director of Development- Heart Walk but that's not my sole reason of why I am so invested in the American Heart Association. My family has a very strong medical history of Heart Disease. My grandmother passed away from Heart Disease and my mother had open heart surgery and countless cardiovascular procedures after her 2 heart attacks. They are my WHY!
