Hello,
Millions of people just like me and someone you know across the country that is diagnosed with high blood pressure. The same way I got help YOU can get help too. Here is my story of how I monitor my blood pressure and maintaining healthy numbers through lifestyle changes and/ medication.
I was working at FEMA/Homeland Security and the job had a health benefit program. So, me and some coworkers decided to go and get our blood pressure check. Well when I got my pressure check it was 140/110. Then the nurse begin to ask me question about my family history of any illness. Next, the nurse says, you need to call your doctor and set up appointment. I got the appointment and did some blood work and I was diagnosed with High Blood Pressure. That has been over 5 years ago. The medicine I take is Valsartan. What I changed since I found out I have high blood pressure, is I don't cook with salt, I exercise daily, I drink plenty of water, I change what I eat, take my medicine everyday, and less stress. You can do the same!
