In 2006, I suffered a heart attack with no warning. I was only 38 and very active. I will be honest, at that moment I was scared and confused; however, with good medical assistance and family and friend support, my recovery went well
With friends and family experiencing this disease, I have come to the realization that I need to use my voice to advocate for Heart Disease research and the work at the American Heart Association.
