I walk because I have been directly affected by heart disease, losing my own father when he was 36 to a massive heart attack and surviving a SCAD Heart Attack and Cardiac Arrest myself at the age of 39 in 2023. I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
Help me celebrate my Survival by joining me in walking or cheering me on at the finish line!
This walk is very close to my heart, as we'll be walking to celebrate survivors (including myself!), support those currently fighting heart disease, and remember those we've lost.
This year I will be dedicating the walk to my dear Aunt Darlene who participated in the heart walk with me on last year traveling all the way from New Jersey. She also sponsored the shirts for everyone last year! On July 17, 2025 after undergoing open heart surgery and fighting she gained her wings. She was a true jewel in our family and generous beyond measures.
We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. We have to change that. Will you help me?
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
