This year, I’m once again participating in the HPE Support American Heart Association Heart Walk — walking in honor of my beloved brother, Vernon Gibson, and in memory of Denise Gaskin, whose lives were both tragically cut short by heart disease.
Vernon’s strength, love, and resilience remain an inspiration to me every day, and Denise’s bright spirit and potential remind me why this fight matters so much. This walk is my way of honoring their memories, standing up for those still fighting, and helping to create a future free from heart disease and stroke.
