I walk as a survivor and remember all who continue to live day by day with cardiovascular concerns. With advance science, technology and the will to live, the gift of a second chance in life is legacy for years to come.
Now surviving 33 years since my corrective open heart surgery on January 27, 1992 is spiritual for me.
You can save a life by taking action to learn CPR. Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.
Every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone.
Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
Let's All Walk to Save Lives.
