We Walk For Our Daddy, Kenneth Edward Lloyd
We are Peggy, Justin, and Taylor — the proud children of Kenneth Edward Lloyd. On December 2 2022, our world changed forever when we lost our Daddy to congestive heart failure, a condition none of us knew he had. It was sudden, heartbreaking, and a reminder that heart disease often hides until it’s too late.
We walk because our father was the kind of man who gave all of himself to others. He poured his heart into his family, his friends, and his community. He showed up at all times for everyone. He led with love, wisdom, and strength. Whether through his decades of community work, his laughter at family dinners, or his wisdom, guidance and mentorship, he left an imprint on everyone blessed enough to know him.
Daddy loved us deeply, and we felt it every single day. That love didn’t end when he passed. His spirit still walks beside us. In the values he instilled, in the memories we hold dear, and in the way we try to live our own lives with the same generosity and joy that he did.
We ask for donation of $10 to support the awareness of heart disease.
We walk because we miss him dearly. We walk because we want his legacy of service and love to live on. And we walk so that other families might be spared the pain of losing someone without warning. This is for you, Daddy. Your heart lives on in us forever.
