When my identical twin sister, Jenny and I were born our mother experienced Heart Failure.  For 6-weeks mom remained hospitalized, with the primary care for us and our brothers resting solely on my Dad's shoulders.  Through this experience we learned FAMILY IS EVERYTHING!  Additionally, we've come to realize the precious value of life and living.  I walk for people like mom, Lady Naomi Jerkins now 91-years young and those who may be impacted by heart disease in the future.  

I've served and volunteered as an AT&T Atlanta City Champion for the last 5 years because I understand the value of this critcal work. for our community  I walk because giving back brings me joy and it allows in some way to support people I may never know.   When you donate to my Heart Walk campaign, you get something back that's priceless - satisfaction knowing your donation helped fund research that could cure heart disease and stroke.
