I am a survivor of Pericardial Effusion, which I developed after being hit by a car while walking in 2008, and it was found again after being hit from behind in another car accident in 2018. The moderate fluid around my heart just refuses to go away, and my cardiologist is trying to stay away from surgery. But I am a fighter, I exercise five days a week and monitor my heart rhythm regularly. Again, as long as my heart doesn't give up on me, I won't give up on it?
