I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives. After my massive heart attack 3 years ago I knew I had to be even more active than I was, which I didn't think was possible because I never sit still! I found my passion of running again and continued to run between 4 and 5 miles each day. My heart is weakening and I don't run any longer but I do try to get out and walk atleast 2 miles each day.
The picture I posted, although not the greatest, is my team from last year. They are primarily friends and coworkers of Emma and Tony, which really meant a lot to me that they joined not even knowing who I am!
We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. We have to change that. Will you help me?
