The American Heart Association Heart Walk is very dear to my heart. My grandson's, Garett, life was saved at 5 weeks old-he had Coarctation of the Aorta. After having life saving surgery, Garett is now a thriving 2 year old. This year he will be ringing the Suvivor's Bell for the third time. I am so very grateful. I invite anyone who would like to become one of Garett's HPC Angels to please join our team and/or donate, if you are able.
I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
