This is weighing on me to participate and raise funds. This year alone I know three people who have had heart issues and bypass surgeries. I've had friends fight heart issues in the past, and I've had family members pass away in the past from different heart problems. I'm sure you all know someone in your life that has had heart issues at some point.
We all have a heart. It could be any of us that need help in the future. We just never will know until it happens.
I feel very strongly about helping this year. I'll be walking in my first heart walk. I'll also donate along with my walk to hopefully help fight against heart problems.
Think about it. Pray about it. Will you consider helping and donating this year to the American Heart Association?
Sent with love,
Tammy
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this.
Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
I Walk to Save Lives. Help me reach my goal today.
