This Saturday, I'm proud to say I'll be walking in my 20th First Coast Heart Walk!
What started as a way for me & my mom to honor my Mimi has grown into something truly special... a family commitment to do our part in the hopes that people can enjoy longer, healthier lives.
I walked alongside my father-in-law in 2019 after his heart attack, walked in my neighborhood in 2020 during Covid, and walked by mom in 2024 after her valve replacement.
I've walked with infants in strollers, pulled toddlers in wagons, carried little ones on my back, missed a baseball game or two - and for the first time in a long time, ALL my boys will be there this weekend (the stars somehow aligned & no one has sports this weekend )
One of the constants has been my CSX work family. It's always a pleasure to spend time outside the office with coworkers who value the role our company plays in the community as much as I do. Proud that CSX is a local sponsor again this year!
