Heartbeats for Caitlin was created in honor of our beloved friend Caitlin, who passed away suddenly from cardiac arrest on February 19th, 2024, at just 24 years old. It was an ordinary day when she went out for a run near her apartment complex and collapsed. Strangers stepped in and began CPR while waiting for the ambulance. Her death was completely unexpected and heartbreaking.

Even though Caitlin didn't survive, we know this is exactly the kind of cause she would have stood behind. We're teaming up with the American Heart Association to help spread awareness, promote access to heart screenings, support CPR education, and fund research-because even when you feel perfectly healthy, heart conditions can go unnoticed, and everyone deserves access to prevention and care.

Caitlin was happy-go-lucky, high-spirited, and the kind of friend everyone hopes to have. She was honest, fierce, smart, and full of life. At the time of her passing, she was studying to become a Physician Assistant.
