I participate in the Heart Walk annually with friends however this year I wanted to start a team for a lot of reasons:

1. As a woman over 50 I recognize the importance of staying active and is vital to good mental and physical health. 
2. As an employee of a Health Insurance company our mission is to help people get care, stay well and build healthy communities and I believe in and support this mission.
3. I participate in hands on events in my city and surrounding areas as I believe anyone can make a positive impact in their own communities. 

The First Coast Heart Walk is a wonderful opportunity to support an organization that makes a difference nationally and locally in bringing awareness of the dangers of heart disease and prevention but also aligns with my personal values.  I'd love for the Jacksonville employees join me a day of fellowdship for a worthy cause.
