Every year I run the American Heart 5K for congenital heart disease.
I was born with an ASD (atrial septal defect) and had open heart surgery when I was 12 years old.
After that, fitness and running became a huge part of my life.
I ran track in college, studied athletic training, and completed my master’s in physiology.
Super grateful I am still here, healthy, and strong enough to run for this cause.
I am running again this year and raising funds for the American Heart Association.
Your donations help support research, better diagnostics, preventative care, and lifesaving treatment for patients and families like mine.
If you would like to support my team, you can donate here. Thank you for helping more hearts get a second chance.
