Heart disease touches so many lives - including mine.

In April of last year, I experienced a heart attack that changed the way I think about heart health and the recovery process. That's why I've started a team for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk in Nashville this year.

Karen and I are walking together in this year's walk, after all it was Karen that strongly suggested (okay, forced) that I go to the emergency room in the peak of tax season. :) She deserves the credit for why I've been given this opportunity to walk, raise awareness, and give back to an amazing cause.

Please consider joining my team on September 20th. If you are not able to join us for the walk, please consider a donation instead, or maybe even do both - every step and every dollar makes a difference.
