My story started 3 years ago I went to the ER because my BP was through the roof and my heart rate was in the shitter. Please listen to your body, they were going to discharge me. I had a 4 year resident who took my case on head first Dr. Houston you will always be the best in my book. They ran every test possible all came back ok or inconclusive. Last step was the cardiac cath lab. When I woke up my cardiologist (at the time) was standing there and all he could say was he was so sorry, I freaked out why was he sorry am I dead and am i watching this??? Oh I certainly could have been, that was my survival of my 1st widow maker heart attack. He was sorry because if he discharged me I would be dead in days. Another widow maker and a full on heart attack NOT ONE SINGLE symptom. Now we are going back into the cath lab for round #5 and then having a carotid endardectomy because my carotid are both blocked 85% and 70%. I now have a cardiologist who stays on top of me and my symptoms and knows i dont tell a normal story and I thank God every day for Dr. Jim!!! Hopefully after the carotid we can bypass the legs because they are 70% blocked as well, I will be back in my 20s hahahaha not a chance but one can hope right. I may not have my legs done in time for this walk but someone will be pushing me!!!
Please listen to your bodies if you think something is off it probably is.
