1 in 100 babies born will have a heart defect. Allen was that statistic. Allen has defied the odds and challenged his diagnosis. Originally diagnosed with Hypopastic Right Heart Syndrome, by the amazing work of his surgeon and a great God we serve. They were able to fix that. But Allen was also diagnosed with Severe Pulmonary Vein Stenosis. Although there is no cure for that yet, but thanks to organizaitons like the American Heart Association, more and more research is being done to find ways to treat Pulmonary Vein Stenosis. 

So this year we walk to save lives.
